LHH is seeking a COMPENSATION ANALYST for a direct hire position in Houston, TX.

Position: COMPENSATION ANALYST

Employment Type: direct hire

Location: HYBRID SCHEDULE (Houston, TX 77002)

Compensation: $75,000-85,000 annually DOE

Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am-5 pm

SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Analyst will assist in the administration of the Company’s compensation programs by evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting compensation information. He/she will help support the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and OptionEase system (OE) by evaluating HR’s business needs and utilizing the systems to accommodate these needs. The position reports to the Manager, Compensation & HRIS with certain reporting responsibilities to other members of the Human Resources/Payroll department.

DUTIES:

• Administer job codes in the HRIS system (UltiPro) by maintaining salary, bonus, and LTIP ranges.

• Provide administrative system support in the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) tool (OptionEase) by loading employee and grant data information.

• Conduct salary market analysis and prepare departmental salary review worksheets.

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and testing of HR applications/modules which may include the following: Performance Management, Salary Planning & Budgeting, and Organizational charts.

• Participant in both formal and informal salary surveys.

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding the LTIP program.

• Assist in creating and maintaining HR process guides for internal use.

• Generate ad hoc compensation reports by utilizing Cognos, Access, and the LTIP system.

• Refresh data in the Corporate employee directory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field strongly preferred

SKILLS:

• MS Office Suite

• Advanced MS Excel skills

• Knowledgeable of UltiPro & Cognos 8

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5-7 years of comprehensive HR Compensation experience

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in Human Resources and/or related energy experience preferred

• Experience conducting salary market analysis, salary planning, and conducting salary surveys



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
