LHH is seeking a CONTRACT MANAGER for a long-term contract position in Houston, TX.
Position: CONTRACT MANAGER
Type: long-term contract (12-24 months)
Location: 100% ONSITE for first 30 days, then HYBRID - 3 days onsite/2 days remote (77042 zip code)
Pay Range: $65-72/hr DOE
Work Schedule: M-F, core hours 9 AM-3 PM (can start as early as 7 AM and work 8 hours/day)
DUTIES:
· Develop, implement and manage high risk procurement strategies to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services for Equinor’s Titan Offshore Platform Decommissioning and Abandon Project.
· Enhance Equinor’s supply chain by ensuring compliance with our governing Supply Chain Management processes, with specific focus on integrity due diligence, human rights assessments, safety, and commercial risk.
· Implement contract(s) in all systems (Plan-to-Pay), drive and perform contract management from award to contract close-out with a focus on minimizing value leakage, risk and promoting safety.
· Utilize market data and digital tools to assist strategic sourcing and category management decision making.
· Proactively ensure high quality stakeholder management both internally and towards suppliers.
· Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality goods and services are delivered at the right price and on-time delivery.
· Manage the bidding process, review bids, and make award recommendations to project management.
· Manage and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject matter, ideally supply chain or procurement related
SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Skilled in developing, utilizing, and extending network of internal and external stakeholders with a proactive, strategic mindset and excellent communication skills.
EXPERIENCE:
· 10+ years of experience with EPC contract establishment or contract management
· Offshore Gulf of Mexico preferred experience
· Experience working in SAP a huge plus
· Commercial minded with deep understanding of high-risk Projects Contracts, managing significant amount of financial resources and procurement strategies.
· Familiarity with the vendor qualification, RFI/RFP processes, EPC type contracts and service agreement requirements.
· Strong execution experience with large size Offshore capital projects through different project phases.
· Strong safety, compliance, commercial and continuous improvement mindset.
· Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity and ethical awareness.
· Structured, Independent, collaborative and proactively solution orientated with the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams across the organization.
Pay Details: $65.00 to $73.00 per hour
