LHH is seeking a CUSTOMER SERVICE ANALYST for a long-term contract position in Downtown Houston, TX.
Position: CUSTOMER SERVICE ANALYST
Type: temporary/contract (6 months - could extend)
Location: HYBRID schedule (Houston, TX 77002)
Compensation: $25-27/hr DOE
Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am-5 pm
SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Analyst I to join our team on a contract basis for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, phone skills, and customer service experience. They should be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and works under minimal supervision. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. The candidate should also have experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments to effectively meet tight and/or multiple deadlines, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and managing conflicting priorities and demands.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audits the Coupa supplier changes and reviews transactions for compliance with established policies and procedures on an as-needed basis.
Must be comfortable with calling suppliers, establishing trust, and ensuring suppliers follow up on requested information to ensure suppliers receive payment, and/or update their data information as requested.
Responds to internal or external issues and resolves, tracking the resolution.
Monitors overall workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and daily work requirements and meets defined customer service level agreements.
Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned.
Recommends changes, updates, and processes for continuous improvement in areas of expertise.
Meets established daily/weekly metrics.
Resolves issues arising from internal department functions, or as brought forth by internal or external customers.
Tracks issues to resolution within department and in partnership with other groups.
Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Communication, phone skills, customer service
Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and works under minimal supervision; analytical/attention to details, ability to meet deadlines, MS Office
Demonstrated skill in project management, including planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments to effectively meet tight and/or multiple deadlines, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and managing conflicting priorities and demands
PRIOR APPLICABLE JOB EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated skills in Customer Service; Issue Resolution; Time Management
SYSTEMS AND TOOLS:
Coupa, Oracle, Service Now, Outlook, Concur
May require intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite as well as general business and/or accounting systems and subject matter knowledge applicable to the department assigned. This knowledge may include, but not be limited to, basic accounting processes and procedures, project management, training within areas of expertise, and strong analytical skills and communication skills.
LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:
1 Year experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
