LHH is proactively seeking a strategic and consultative HR Business Partner (HR BP) to join our client’s team on a contract basis.

Location: Houston area, Texas
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00/hr (DOE)


As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic HR support and consultative services to the organization. You will work closely with leadership and employees to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of HR practices, and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Support: Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and provide strategic HR guidance to support business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Talent Management: Assist in the development and implementation of talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to the business.
  • HR Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leadership to identify workforce needs and develop plans to address talent gaps and future staffing requirements.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture through initiatives and programs that support equity and belonging.
  • HR Projects: Lead and participate in various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HR business partnering or consultative roles.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide innovative HR solutions that align with business goals.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with the capability to manage competing priorities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in HR documentation, reporting, and compliance tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly resolve HR issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR information.
