We’re looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to support our client in preparing and filing immigration petitions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong grasp of U.S. business immigration processes, and enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients.

Details:

  • 40 hours/week
  • Pay rate: $35/hour
  • 12-month contract (potential for extension)
  • Onsite in downtown Houston, TX
  • Not eligible for overtime, benefits, or sick leave

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare nonimmigrant petitions, applications, and support letters for attorney review.
  • Manage a high volume of active cases at various stages of preparation.
  • Review documents to assist attorneys in identifying issues and escalate irregularities.
  • Maintain accurate records using internal case management systems.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, and government agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of U.S. business immigration experience (law firm setting preferred).
  • Investor visa (e.g., E-2 and EB-5) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with both immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions/applications.
  • Paralegal certification or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management systems like iManage.
