LHH is seeking an IMPORT/EXPORT COORDINATOR for a contract-to-hire position in NW Houston, TX.

Position: IMPORT/EXPORT COORDINATOR

Type: contract-to-hire

Location: 100% ONSITE (77086 zip code)

Pay Range: $26-28/hr DOE

Work Schedule: M-F, 8 AM-5 PM (onsite) + every 3rd weekend (reomote from home) - Sat & Sun, 7 AM-7 PM = up to 22 hours of OT pay for that week

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Client Operations Planner (Import/Export Coordinator) to join its team in Houston, Texas. This position is a client facing role dedicated to providing exemplary customer service for The Company’s specialty chemistry operations. This role will serve as an internal contact for The Company’s Data Analytics, Domestic, and International Chemistry customers, including field and operations teams. This outward facing role will ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. The primary responsibility for this role is efficient and accurate order entry and coordination within the organization to ensure the appropriate parties are engaged in order execution.

DUTIES:

Reporting to the Client Operations Manager, the Client Operations Planner will have direct responsibility for the following:

· First line of communication between sales and internal stakeholders supporting customer operations through frequent and engaged communication, job tracking and reporting.

· Collaborate cross functionally with internal Company teams as well as third party vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products throughout ongoing customer operations.

· Accurately input customer orders received and all relevant data per the Customer Fulfillment Order Entry Process.

· Resolve product or service quality issues by clearly identifying the customer concern to determine the best solution, expediting the corrective action, and following up to ensure resolution and satisfaction.

· Engage key stakeholders throughout the order fulfillment cycle ensuring effective service delivery and customer satisfaction by tracking orders from initiation to completion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or industrial/chemical manufacturing and distribution.

SKILLS:

· Proficient in Microsoft Suites Applications

· Proficient in JD Edwards (JDE) and/or SAP a big plus

· Strong customer service skills

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver superior service quality.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 3 or more years of customer service experience, with the ability to efficiently coordinate and balance multiple tasks and competing priorities

· Preferred experience with oilfield operations

· Working knowledge of export documentation requirements to include but not limited to: IMDG, IATA, 49CFR.

· Candidate should ideally have international oil & gas logistics/import/export experience



Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
