LHH is seeking a Land/Midstream Contract Analyst to analyze and review contracts and agreements to identify key terms, conditions, and contractual commitments.
Job Title: Land/Midstream Contract Analyst
Location: Onsite - Houston, Texas 77046 (Greenway Plaza)
Contract Duration: Long Term Contract (1 year)
Pay Rate: $32/hr - $37/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, land, IT, and others, to support the contract database, templates, and workflows aimed at streamlining the contract management process.
Midstream or land experience is preferred but not required.
Proficiency with AI tools and technologies is highly preferred to assist with the project, as AI will play a significant role in streamlining processes and improving efficiencies. The candidate should be familiar with common software tools and computer literacy and have the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
This is a contract position with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role in 6 months to 1 year based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate compliance and review of midstream contractual commitments. This involves entering contract-related information into software-based systems, such as Quorum Land System and other relevant tools.
Assist in the development of processes, tools, reports, and GIS mapping to track and maintain contractual obligations, including dedication tracking and performance compliance.
Maintain midstream contracts within retention systems.
Support periodic reviews of internal processes, controls, contract forms, contract briefs, data reporting, gap analysis, and other related tasks.
Additional Duties as Required:
Help with ad-hoc projects related to contract management, compliance, and reporting.
Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance contract management efficiency.
Notes:
The role is within a midstream strategic development team, working on a project to identify contracts and map them into GIS midstream dedications.
The analyst will be working with a contract management system to review midstream-related contracts and track dedications.
This position will involve significant research and requires strong problem analysis skills.
Familiarity with software tools and the ability to learn new software quickly is a must.
