LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Houston-based law firm to hire a Legal Secretary with litigation experience. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting a high-performing legal team known for its professionalism, collaboration, and career development.
Job Overview
- Position: Legal Secretary – Litigation
- Location: Houston, TX 77056
- Work Arrangement: On-site
- Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
- Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 annually
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible start as early as 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys
- Manage ECF/e-filing in federal and state courts
- Draft legal correspondence and prepare reports
- Maintain attorney calendars and docket deadlines
- Submit billable time and assist with invoice preparation
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and third parties
- Utilize electronic filing and document retrieval systems
- Support special projects and general administrative tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of litigation legal secretary experience
- Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel with pivot tables/formulas) and Adobe
- Experience with iManage and billing systems (Aderant, iTimeKeep, Elite)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality

- Collaborate with a partner group of 8 attorneys

- Remote work available one day per week after 90 days (typically Tuesday–Thursday)
