LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Coder for our healthcare client located in Northwest Houston. This role will be a contract-to-hire opportunity for our client and a 100% onsite, full-time opportunity. The role will be focused on accurately coding claims and resolving claim issues, as well as any other duties as assigned by the Revenue Cycle manager. CPC Certification is required to be considered for this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CPC Certification required
• Minimum 3 years medical coding/billing experience
• Experience working with EMR Systems and Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of ICD-10 codes and medical terminology
• Understanding of insurance payers
• Extensive experience working within Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet production metrics as given by management
• Able to prioritize and remain organized throughout the day, adapting to different tasks as needed
