LHH is partnering with a machine maintenance servicing company in Houston, TX to find a highly organized and proactive Payroll Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced team environment! This company offers a flexibility and opportunity for career development!

Candidates should have one or more years of in-house payroll experience, with strong attention to detail and familiarity with multi-state payroll and compliance.

Annual salary for the Payroll Specialist ranges between $65,000 and $70,000 depending on experience.

Job Duties:

• Process weekly & bi-weekly payroll

• Answering payroll related questions via phone and email

• Input various types of pay including holiday, vacation, jury duty, etc.

• Processing garnishments and deductions

• Prepare certified payroll reports

• Process new hire and termination paperwork

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reconciliations

Job Requirements:

• One or more years’ recent payroll experience

• Experience in a construction or field-service company preferred

• Understanding of certified payroll and union reporting requirements

• Basic MS Excel skills required
