Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Training on-site; remote M & F)


Join our client’s team as a Procurement Specialist, a key member of the Procurement Team! In this hybrid position, you’ll provide exceptional support for the enterprise Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) system, focusing on hyper-care and help desk assistance for purchasing system end-users. You will also resolve invoice reconciliations during high-volume periods and support the company’s overall P2P initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert on the P2P System (Coupa/BuySmart) and understand all functional aspects.

  • Provide high-quality support to operators and end-users, helping them navigate the procurement process and use advanced features of the P2P solution.

  • Troubleshoot end-user access issues and resolve catalog access problems.

  • Train new users on effectively utilizing the P2P system.

  • Support the invoice reconciliation process, addressing price variances and quantity exceptions.

  • Build strong relationships with preferred vendors to streamline the invoice reconciliation process.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations and corporate departments.

  • Assist in continuous P2P business improvement activities related to pricing and catalog management.

  • Identify potential end-user risks and engage management proactively when needed.

  • Participate in process improvements across P2P and procurement.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.

  • Solid understanding of best practices in the procure-to-pay (P2P) process.

  • Familiarity with P2P and/or ERP systems; Coupa/BuySmart experience is preferred.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in MS Word.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to follow up on team and business-wide tasks.

  • P2P experience is mandatory.

Desired Additional Qualifications:

  • Collaborative, agile, and client-focused with proven relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and self-starter mentality.

Additional Details:

  • Experience with Coupa is highly preferred due to the urgency of the transition from BuySmart to Coupa.

  • The role will focus on cut-over activities and hypercare post-Go-Live in Coupa through FY 2025.






Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.85 per hour
