Property Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a Property Accountant located in Houston TX. Our client is a real estate services/construction development company and is looking to fill this position as soon as possible. The candidate will need to have 2 years minimum property accounting experience as well as a Bachelor’s in Accounting. Some job duties include:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages

• Accrual and cash journal entries

• Reviewing operating statements and variance reports

• Prepare monthly income statement variance analysis.

• Perform CAM reconciliations

• Interact and communicate with property managers

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting

• Recent real estate/commercial accounting experience

Skills:

• Must be proficient in MS Excel

• Applicable experience in Yardi or MRI
