LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and statements.
Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve any billing or payment issues.
Support the finance team with other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable or similar accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
