Job Posting: Accounts Payable Administrator
Location: Huntington Beach, CA 92647 Pay Rate: $25/hr Position: 100% On-Site Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Duration: 6 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounts payable functions including posting transactions, resolving billing disputes, and managing vendor accounts. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring timely and accurate financial processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Processing: Post cash, manage invoice processing, and handle payment scheduling.
Billing Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any billing disputes or discrepancies.
Vendor Management: Maintain vendor accounts, update records, and ensure timely payments.
Documentation: Record and manage collection updates and ensure timely reporting of past dues to management.
End-of-Month Procedures: Assist with end-of-month closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports related to accounts payable activities.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related office environment.
Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; basic understanding of accounts payable processes; detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with LN M3, Royal IV, or SAP ERP software.
