Accounting Coordinator (Entry Level)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounting Coordinator (Entry Level) for a client of ours in Cleveland, OH. This role offers exposure to diverse accounting areas, providing an excellent foundation for your accounting career.


Responsibilities:



  • Train in Cash Application processes to support the Cash Application Specialist.


  • Perform credit card maintenance and service tasks.


  • Distribute mail for daily processing.


  • Retrieve, validate, and save credit card receipts electronically.


  • Enter invoices and collect payments via customer portals.


  • Handle special projects for the Finance Department.


  • Assist in reconciling customer accounts and recording corrections.


  • Provide support to other departments to maintain financial records.


  • Help with monthly tax filings and state audits.


  • Scan, file, and distribute Finance Department documents for audits.


  • Support month-end close by recording journal entries and creating reports.


Qualifications:



  • Dependable and proficient in data entry.


  • High level of self-awareness, adaptability, and integrity.


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and document conversion.


  • Accuracy and attention to detail.


  • Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.


  • Exceptional organization and time management.


  • Respect confidentiality and use discretion with private data.


  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
