LHH is seeking a motivated and organized Benefits Specialist to assist a client through open-enrollment season. In this role, you will primarily assist with the annual benefits open enrollment process and provide support to employees with their benefits-related questions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in HR and gain valuable experience in benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the coordination and execution of the annual benefits open enrollment process.
Provide support to employees during open enrollment, helping them navigate their benefit options and complete necessary forms.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records in HRIS systems.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of benefits communication materials.
Support the Benefits team in the administration of health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
Participate in benefits-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant benefits regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred not required)
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources or a related field, with a focus on benefits administration preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

3-4 months

North side of Indianapolis (100% onsite)
