LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with an SMB client in the retail space looking for a Corporate Controller. This is a well known Hoosier brand that is growing their footprint. Someone with proven P&L ownership and experience leading a couple staff accountants for a small firm will be key here.

Responsibilities:

· Month/Year End

· Financial Reporting

· Leads Accounting Team with 2 direct reports for AP/AR and GL

· AP & AR Oversight

· Ensure Tax Returns

· Reconciliations

· Ensure GAAP Compliance

· Look Out/Implement on Opportunities for Process Improvement

· Internal Controls

· Audit Liaison

· Journal Entries

Qualifications:

· Bachelors in Accounting Required

· 8+ years’ Progressive Accounting Experience within Accounting Required

· 1+ years’ Supervision Experience Required

· CPA Preferred
