LHH is seeking a contract Data Entry Clerk for a client in Indianapolis, IN. This position will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data in their systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to manage and organize large amounts of information. This role is critical for ensuring data integrity and supporting various departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input data into computer systems and databases from various sources, including physical documents, electronic files, and web-based systems.
Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any errors or discrepancies.
Maintain and update databases and records with new information as it becomes available.
Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring all data is stored securely and is easily accessible.
Generate and distribute reports as required, summarizing data and providing insights to relevant teams.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to clarify data requirements and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word; experience with data entry software is a plus.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience: Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related role is preferred but not required.
Assignment Length
Approximately 12 weeks
Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
