Outpatient Coder - Direct Hire - HYBRID in Indianapolis
LHH is seeking an experienced Outpatient Coder for our client in Indianapolis! This is a hybrid onsite/remote position with 2-3 days per week in office. Those with 2 or more years of Outpatient Coding experience + Coding Certification are encouraged to apply! We are hiring ASAP.
Job details:
- Monday - Friday, 7AM-8AM start time (flexible)
- Location: west Indianapolis area; 2 or 3 days onsite per week
- Salary: $60-75k depending on years of experience
- Benefits: full benefit offerings including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off/vacation days, retirement savings, and other value-added employee benefits
Coders will:
- Review notes, charge documents, services provided, ensure charges are correct
- Enter insurance coverage for insurances
- Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Ensure patient information, dates, and needed signatures are included
- Ensure diagnosis matches the services provided
- Review physician documentation, work closely with other parties/departments on Coding errors or denials
- Assist with Coding audits as needed
Qualified Coders will possess:
- 2 or more years of experience in Outpatient Coding
- Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CRC, etc.)
- ICD-10 & CPT knowledge
- E&M experience preferred, not required
Soft skills include strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and time management skills
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
