LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a downtown Indianapolis, Indiana client seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk. This part-time position has the opportunity to grow into full time work and permanent hire on the payroll team. Union payroll experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Manage employee payroll records and data accurately
· Assist with union payroll processing
· Consistent processing of new hire paperwork and payroll entry
· Daily communication with internal teams for account management and processing, inquiry resolution
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of prior payroll processing and procedures
· Associates or Bachelor's degree - OR - relevant payroll work history
· High organization, detail oriented, and work with high accuracy to maintain records and data
· High Excel proficiency
· Viewpoint accounting software experience preferred
