The LHH is seeking a Product Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join a company who has experienced significant growth within their industry and is adding to a well-established new product development team. You will join forces with fellow Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing Professionals, and Sales Representatives to develop cutting-edge solutions that improve product outcomes and enhance the overall customer experience. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $95,000-105,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Connect with industry professionals, customers, and internal staff members to fully understand the current marketplace so you can provide better service to customers, better feedback to the new product development team, and manufacture the best quality products possible.

  • Establish product specifications by analyzing strategies and competitor offerings.

  • Use data, customer insights, and market trends to help the team make informed decisions regarding new product lines.

  • Develop and oversee product roadmaps through the development cycle.

  • Coordinate product testing for sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Communicate with customers and provide customer feedback to the team.

  • Collaborate with the new product development team and train sales associates about correct product usage and how to best market and sell products to an existing and continually growing customer base.

  • Assist marketing teams in enhancing product positioning and crafting effective messaging.

  • Act as the product authority, thoroughly understanding and explaining the design, features, and advantages.

  • Foster robust communication channels to provide stakeholders with accurate and timely information.

  • Conduct and interpret market research to inform product development.

  • Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Engineering, and Quality teams.

  • Ensure all relevant stakeholder needs are considered and addressed before product launch.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required (with preferences toward Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field)

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in new product development and/or product management within a manufacturing organization is required

  • Must have demonstrated experience with new product development cycles and the ability to effectively prioritize products and make informed decisions using data and analytics

  • Ideal candidates will have experience with product roadmaps and prioritizing customer needs

  • Ideal candidates will have the ability to support marketing teams in refining product positioning

  • Strong communication skills to articulate product features and benefits

  • Experience in executing and analyzing market research

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
