About the Company: Our client, a reputable organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join their team.
Overview: Purchasing Agent is responsible for maintaining and monitoring KPIs, open purchase orders, price lists, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods with regular follow-ups with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Update price lists, lead times, and safety stock in the ERP system.
Support forecasting and planning of purchases for all raw materials, hard goods, and packaging materials.
Identify new suppliers and obtain pricing or other critical information.
Collaborate with internal customers on raw material documentation.
Manage and update purchase order deliveries and scheduling in the ERP system.
Stay informed about supplier communications on raw material supply and pricing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in the Purchasing Department.
Demonstrate awareness and competency relevant to the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, objectives, and compliance obligations related to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) system.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
