LHH is seeking a Receptionist for a short term contract for a company in Indianapolis, IN. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This role is essential in maintaining an organized and positive office environment by performing a variety of administrative tasks and supporting the overall team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.

  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

  • Manage and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, as well as prepare outgoing mail.

  • Provide basic information to visitors and callers, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments, including booking conference rooms.

  • Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies inventory.

  • Support staff with general office duties and special projects as needed.

  • Ensure the reception area reflects a professional and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or administrative certification is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer-service mindset.

  • Ability to handle a busy work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Professional appearance and attitude.

Assignment Length

  • 4-6 weeks??



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
