LHH is seeking a Receptionist for a short term contract for a company in Indianapolis, IN. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This role is essential in maintaining an organized and positive office environment by performing a variety of administrative tasks and supporting the overall team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Manage and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, as well as prepare outgoing mail.
Provide basic information to visitors and callers, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments, including booking conference rooms.
Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
Support staff with general office duties and special projects as needed.
Ensure the reception area reflects a professional and welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or administrative certification is a plus.
Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
Ability to handle a busy work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional appearance and attitude.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
