LHH is seeking a Supply Chain Manager candidate for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company, with domestic and international operations. The ideal candidate will join a small but mighty team of supply chain and logistics professionals responsible for the management and coordination of materials into production, suppliers and scheduling production and delivery to customers in Europe, USA and Asia. This is a hybrid position. Compensation ranges from $90,000 – 110,000/year plus bonus and includes very affordable insurance program options, 401K match, and generous PTO and holiday offerings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of products in line with shipping schedules, customer releases, and purchase orders.

· Liaise with freight forwarders, warehouses, and customers to address any shipment-related issues.

· Provide post-sale customer service, including issuing returns and handling complaints.

· Convert customer schedules or forecasts into company and supplier production schedules.

· Maintain timely communication with suppliers.

· Regularly review warehouse inventory status, enhance inventory control, and monitor supplier shipping schedules.

· Set guidelines for safety stock, target inventory levels, and lot sizes.

· Handle expediting, de-expediting, production parts launches, and customer-driven changes.

· Oversee supplier relationships, including quoting potential suppliers, placing orders, and monitoring supplier performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with ERP programs is advantageous.

· Background in International Logistics Scheduling.

· Bachelor's degree or a 2-year associate degree.

· 7+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing and/or distribution is highly desirable.
