Tax Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently working with a public accounting firm on the north side of Indianapolis that is looking to expand its tax team. Our client is looking to add a Tax Accountant to help prepare monthly and quarterly tax returns and advise clients on tax strategies. This position is offered with a starting salary of $60,000/year+ with room for growth. Responsibilities

• Complete over 125 tax returns per month
• Create and post journal entries for taxes
• Creating SOP’s to help new members
• Advise clients on tax strategies
• Ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal tax laws

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience working within the tax field
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Customer service skills
