LHH is assisting our long time property management / construction client in their search for a qualified Treasury Manager / Assistant Controller to add to their growing team. The Treasury Manager / Assistant Controller will assist the Vice President of Accounting with the preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, banking and SOX/SOC controls as well as other initiatives. Key responsibilities:
- Direct daily cash management activities and ensure efficient cash flow
- Maintain internal controls for treasury systems, account access and documentation
- Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
- Coordinating activities of external auditors and external tax accountants
- Providing management with information vital to meet key metrics
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes
- Evaluating and improving internal control systems
- Experience with Intacct is preferred, but not required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial software systems (e.g., Sage Intacct).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience in cost control in a multi-revenue stream environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables.
