Experience: 3-5 years of prior experience in high-volume accounts payable, especially in a law firm

We are currently seeking a Contract Accounts Payable Specialist for a short-term assignment located in Irvine, California. If you have prior experience in a law firm setting, strong Excel skills, and are available for a short-term project, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
As a Contract Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Matching and Coding: Match invoices with purchase orders, code invoices appropriately, and enter data into the system.
Weekly Check Runs: Assist with weekly check runs and other payment processes.
Month-End Close Assistance: Support month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
1099s: Assist with the preparation and issuance of 1099 forms.
Data Analysis: Utilize strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in high-volume accounts payable, especially in a law firm.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial data entry.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Additional Information:
Project Duration: This is a short-term contract position for 3 months.
Work Schedule: Business Casual.
