Family Owned Corporation seeking a permanent Sr AP Specialist for their team onsite in Irvine!

The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for reviewing and processing a high volume of invoices and expense reports, verifying purchase orders, preparing payments, and maintaining of vendor relationships.

Daily Expectations:

• Process and audit invoices and expense reports

• Provide support to more junior level AP accountants

• Resolves invoice exceptions by collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Responds to supplier requests for invoice payment status

• Reconciles past invoice discrepancies

Expectations of You

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred

• 5+ years of prior Accounts Payable

• Working knowledge of general account practices

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Previous experience in an Oracle system is required

Salary is non exempt and $33-$38/hr
