LHH is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer II. Please apply if you match the below qualifications and are happy to work on-site 4 days per week in Orange County, California.
Required: 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
Required: 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, setting up rule sets, creating rule sets and setting up IP Security Tunnels with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (often abbreviated FTD or Cisco Firepower)
Required: 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, setting up rule sets, creating rule sets and setting up IP Security Tunnels with Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (often abbreviated cisco firewalls or FMC)
Required: 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and routing Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
Required: 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and routing Enhanced Exterior Gateway Routing Protocol and Border Gateway Protocol (EGP/ BGP) – Exterior gateway protocol (good troubleshooting experience on this)
Required: 5+ years of experience setting up connections with service providers using BGP
Required: 5+ years of experience routing and switching (ideally using cisco catalyst, cisco nexus 9k and 3k, ASR + ISR Routers)
Required: Willingness to Travel around Southern California to Data Centers 10% of the time
Required: 3+ years of experience with Cisco Identity Service Engineer (ISE)
Required: 3+ years of experience with Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA)

On-Site / Hybrid / Remote? Hybrid (4 days per week on-site 1 day per week from home)
Why is the Position Open? The last Sr. Network Engineer Left when new leadership joined. This candidate will back fill the previous Sr. Network Engineer. Currently, Virendra the VP is taking on the work that this person would do and he is therefore very motivated to fill this role.
Reports to: VP/ Director of IT Networking
COVDI19 Vax required? No vaccination requirements
Accept Visa / H1b Sponsorship? Green Card or US Citizen only
Schedule? PST hours
Dress code? Business casual
SALARY + TOTAL COMP + BENEFITS:
Perm Salary Range: $93k-$140,358k (Virendra said there is no flexibility on the compensation but I will submit candidates who are $5k over budget)
Salary is paid in hourly form so that candidates receive overtime pay for extra hours worked. Maximum hourly compensation level is $67.48/hr.
Discretionary Bonus: 15%
Signing Bonus: No
Continuing Education Bonus (use it or lose it): $8,500/yr.
Total Cash Compensation Calculation: $140k Base + $30k + 15% Bonus ($21k) + $8,500= $199,500k/yr. Total Compensation
Relocation Assistance: No (but open to candidates who are willing to relocate on their own)
Benefits (Medical, Dental, 401(k), PTO)? Will match 60% of 5% of candidates Base Salary in 401k Contributions. Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage (see attachment under “files” in BH for details)
