Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support their AP operations. This individual will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have experience with job costing, 2-way matching, GL coding, and familiarity with sales and use tax. Overtime may be required during peak cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy, including job cost coding and 2-way match

• Route invoices to appropriate approval groups and follow up on outstanding approvals

• Validate data and ensure GL coding is consistent with internal policies

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

• Handle utility invoices and check requests

• Maintain and update W-9 documentation and assist with 1099 reporting as needed

• Support audits and month-end close with accurate documentation

• Monitor AP inbox and ensure timely response to internal and external inquiries

• Assist with special projects and provide support across AP functions

• Overtime may be required based on workload

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience

• Experience with Vista or similar accounting systems (Vista preferred but not required)

• Strong knowledge of job costing and construction-related AP processes

• Familiarity with sales and use tax regulations

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
