Job Title: Benefits Analyst II Location: Issaquah, WA Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $32.98 - $37.93 per hour
The Benefits Analyst II is responsible for the administration of our Health & Welfare benefit programs, ensuring accurate reconciliation and payment of employee benefits, and maintaining compliance with company policies and governmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Reconciliation & Payment:
Reconcile and process payments for employee health and welfare plan invoices.
Collaborate with Finance and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Benefit Records Management:
Manage the process flow of benefit records.
Verify accurate and timely employee enrollments.
Administer various employee benefit programs, including Health & Welfare, Section 125 plans, COBRA, Life/Disability plans, voluntary benefits, and Paid Time Off plans.
Compliance & Auditing:
Ensure all benefit programs comply with company policies and government regulations.
Conduct and oversee compliance reporting, benefit audits, and annual testing.
Update and maintain benefit plan documents.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay informed on benefit industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions.
Employee & HR Support:
Serve as a resource for benefits-related inquiries from employees, family members, and the HR team.
Partner in providing benefits education to the HR team.
Education:
BA or BS degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of Human Resource experience with a focus on benefits administration.
PHR/SPHR and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification is highly desirable.
Experience with UKG-Pro is highly preferred.
