Staff Accountant

We currently have a contract to hire Staff Accountant opportunity located near Itasca, IL. This position is seeking an Accountant level professional with three or more year’s recent experience that can get onsite to Itasca. To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Job Duties:

• Month end and quarter end close process
• Posting journal entries
• Account and Bank Reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Analyze financial information

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience working as a Staff Accountant
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including V-Lookups and Formulas
• Experience working with ERP software, SAP is a strong plus
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• Able to work independently and meet financial deadlines
• Ability to handle complex problems during critical times
• Excellent communication skills
