Job Title: High Volume Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Jacksonville, FL (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle AP, PO matching, and preferably SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 2- or 3-way purchase order (PO) matching
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice entry, approvals, payments, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience with full-cycle AP and PO matching is required
• SAP experience is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
