Job Title: Accounts Payable Lead (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: 100% Onsite

Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Lead to join our client's team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-volume accounts payable processing and be proficient in using Great Plains software. This role is 100% onsite and offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$25.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Manage a high volume of AP transactions, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize Great Plains software for AP processing and reporting.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address and resolve payment issues.
• Prepare and maintain AP reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Lead or similar role.
• Proficiency in Great Plains software is required.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Experience in high-volume AP processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
