Job Title: Construction Accountant
Location: Jacksonville, FL (100% Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (Based on Experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, onsite position ideal for a professional with a strong background in construction accounting who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for construction projects
• Prepare and analyze job cost reports and financial statements
• Process accounts payable and receivable specific to construction activities
• Track project budgets, change orders, and billing schedules
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Collaborate with project managers and field staff to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

Qualifications:

• Required: Minimum 2 years of construction accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300, or similar)
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reports, and AIA billing
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
