LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a seasoned Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for a prestigious client in Columbus, OH. This is a full-time position ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the EHS team, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Oversee all aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor EHS initiatives and best practices
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing safety performance
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures that align with organizational goals
- Serve as a subject matter expert on EHS matters, providing training and support to employees at all levels
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to EHS
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful EHS programs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with EHS management systems and software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation/Benefits:
