Job Title: Grant Accountant (Temp to Perm, Hybrid)
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32256
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent, Hybrid
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Grant Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid position with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant accounting and possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the financial aspects of grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and funding agency requirements.
Prepare and submit financial reports, budgets, and forecasts related to grant activities.
Monitor grant expenditures and ensure they are in line with approved budgets.
Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of grant accounts.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Maintain detailed records of all grant-related financial transactions.
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and applications.
Provide support during external audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
Proven experience in grant accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
