Legal Assistant

LHH is seeking a highly organized and experienced Legal Assistant with a strong background in personal injury law to join a respected law firm in Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience supporting personal injury attorneys, managing case files, and communicating effectively with clients during sensitive times.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal documents, demand letters, pleadings, and discovery related to personal injury cases
Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, and track deadlines
Organize and maintain personal injury case files (electronic and hard copy)
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and court personnel
Assist in trial preparation and settlement negotiations
Requirements:
2–5 years of legal assistant experience, with a strong focus on personal injury on the defense side
Knowledge of Florida court rules and filing procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
