LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Jacksonville. This temp-to-perm position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex litigation matters, providing essential support throughout all phases of the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
File and e-file documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and deadlines for attorneys, clients, and other parties involved.
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
Prepare exhibits, witness binders, and other materials for depositions and trials.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and e-filing systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program preferred.
