About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in high-volume payroll processing and benefits administration. The ideal candidate must be proficient in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Process multi-state, high-volume payroll on a bi-weekly basis using UKG.
- Administer employee benefits including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Reconcile payroll and benefits data, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to support audits and reporting needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll and benefits information.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Hands-on experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) is required.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and benefits compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with union payroll or multi-entity organizations.
- CPP or FPC certification is a plus.
Pay Details: $6,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
