Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Jacksonville, FL (100% Onsite)

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our clients team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a direct hire position that requires working 100% onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
