Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will assist Senior Accountants with month-end closing, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data entered into the general ledger, and record general ledger entries, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaids, depreciation, and amortization. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with other reconciliations as needed, such as balance sheet accounts and pledges.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university/college in the US
• Two years of experience in the field of accounting
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables)

Knowledge of:

• Generally accepted accounting principles and practices of accounting
• Non-profit accounting (preferred but not required)
