Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Nassau County, NY (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time - Hyrbid, 2 days from home
Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 annually, based on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner to join our dynamic HR team. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives across employee relations, talent management, and learning & development, while supporting all core areas of HR. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for building high-performing, engaged teams in a fast-paced, publicly traded environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Culture
Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution aligned with company values and legal compliance.
Partner with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Conduct investigations, coach managers, and support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Talent Management & Organizational Development
Lead talent planning, succession strategies, and performance management processes.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify skill gaps and develop workforce strategies that align with business goals.
Support organizational design and change management efforts.
Learning & Development
Design and implement learning programs that support leadership development, employee growth, and compliance training.
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver impactful training solutions.
Measure and report on learning effectiveness and employee engagement outcomes.
HR Strategy & Business Partnership
Act as a strategic advisor to department heads, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decisions.
Support workforce planning, compensation reviews, and headcount forecasting.
Compliance & Policy
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with evolving legislation and best practices.
Support internal audits and reporting requirements for a public company environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or HR leadership role.
Strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, and learning & development.
Experience working in a public company or highly regulated environment preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
Work Environment
Hybrid work model with on-site presence in Nassau County as needed.
Occasional travel to other company locations or events may be required.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
