Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in the non-profit space who is looking to bring an Accounts Payable Specialist on board on an open ended, contract basis. This will require some in-office work in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. 
   

   Process invoices and weekly payments

2. 
   

   Perform related reconciliations

3. 
   

   Ensure all vendor account information is kept up to date

4. 
   

   Review GL coding

Qualifications:

1. 
   

   Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred

2. 
   

   3+ years of relevant AP experience

3. 
   

   Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables & v-lookups

4. 
   

   Experience with large ERP system preferred

5. 
   

   Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation: $27 - $34/hr, depending on experience.
