Job Summary:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage customer invoicing, payment processing, and collections. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience in AR processes. This role requires a proactive professional who can maintain accurate financial records and improve cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
Prepare and analyze AR aging reports to track overdue accounts
Communicate with customers regarding billing issues and resolve disputes
Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
Identify and implement process improvements in AR functions
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong knowledge of AR processes, reconciliations, and collections
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
