Data Entry Specialist

$18.00 - $20.00 per Hour


LHH has partnered with a law firm in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and we are in search of a Data Entry Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. This position requires in-office presence Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and will go though the end of October 2024.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the precise entry of vendor invoice information into systems and to provide essential administrative support within the office.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Accurately input vendor invoice data into spreadsheets in a prompt manner.


  • Cross-check invoice details with purchase orders, receiving documents, and approved vendor lists for verification.


  • Highlight any discrepancies or issues with invoices for the attention of the supervisor.


  • Keep electronic filing systems for invoices and related documents current and well-organized.


  • Carry out administrative tasks as directed.


  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed, based on skills and availability.


Qualifications:



  • A high school diploma is required.


  • At least one year of experience in data entry or administrative positions.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.


  • Exceptional typing skills and data entry capabilities are expected.


  • A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.


  • Strong organizational abilities and task prioritization skills are required.
