LHH has partnered with a very successful and profitable small business in Kansas City Metro. They are looking for a Accounting Manager. Are you looking for a role that is a solid 40 hours a week, but that also wants to help elevate the accounting department?

Job Duties

• Maintain internal safeguards for all accounting functions, including revenue receipts, invoices, payables, payroll, and more, ensuring financial integrity and accuracy.

• Establish annual budgets and operational benchmarks, providing a clear financial roadmap for the organization.

• Submit monthly transactions for review by an external accounting firm, facilitating regular financial oversight and compliance.

• Implement and uphold consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures to standardize financial operations.

• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows, ensuring robust financial governance.

• Manage and perform accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and bi-monthly payroll through a third-party provider, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing.

• Oversee credit card and banking transactions, maintaining meticulous records and reconciling accounts as needed.

• Submit monthly sales tax returns to both Kansas and Missouri, ensuring compliance with state tax regulations.

Salary

• $60,000 - $75,000
