Accounts Receviable Assistant

LHH Recruitment is seeking an AR Assistant for our client in Kansas City, KS. This role is responsible for investigating and resolving deduction disputes between vendors and the organization. The specialist will assess the validity of disputed charges, manage resolutions, and ensure appropriate fund disbursement. The position requires frequent collaboration with vendors and internal departments. This is a contract role working on-site with potential for hire for the right person, paying $19/hour. Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze vendor correspondence and supporting documentation to determine repayment or denial using multiple internal systems.

· Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals.

· Accurately code repayments to the appropriate general ledger accounts.

· Manage and follow up on assigned cases through the case management system (e.g., ServiceNow).

· Monitor and respond to alerts related to active and inactive case queues.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.

· Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service.

· Proficiency in enterprise systems such as OnDemand, Balances, and PeopleSoft (or similar platforms).

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
