LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Benefits Specialist for a client in Kansas City, MO. The Benefits Specialist will play a key role in managing and optimizing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and providing an efficient process. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of benefits complexity across multiple plans.


Salary Range: This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $60,000 to $70,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.??Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

Responsibilities:


  • Administer and manager multiple beneits plans, including health, dental, vision, retirement and other employee benefits
  • Analyze and evaluate benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and cost effective
  • Collaborate with union representatives to address benefits-related issues
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits options and enrollment processes
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits
  • Prepare and present reports on benefits utilization and costs to management

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor???s degree is preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience OR a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in benefits administration
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data
  • Proven experience with managing multiple benefits plans and handling benefits complexity
  • Strong work ethic and team player with a high degree of professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in benefits administration and Microsoft Office Suite
