LHH has partnered with a client in Kansas City Metro, who is looking to bring on a Cash Applications Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Duties:

• The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for recording payments from the lockbox, ACH, and wire transfer to customer accounts

• The position requires the ability to potentially work with multiple lockboxes that are tied to specific customer portfolios

• Daily work volume is directly related to daily deposit volume that can fluctuate from day to day

• The individual will be expected to be a self-starter, driven for accuracy and able to work effectively with the Credit and Collections team and leadership

• Monitor bank accounts for deposits and ensure all deposits are recorded timely and accurately

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting duties

• Maintain adequate electronic data files related to cash application for auditing and research purposes

• Assist Cash Application and Collection team to resolve problems and questions for customers
